Class Action

No school tomorrow, don’t wake me,

What excuse was it going to be?

Sore throat, no he used that this week,

Bad stomach, lost voice can’t speak,

But I was wrong, it was not that,

He, in fact all kids were on strike at,

The cancellation of every school outing,

No annual trips, hikes and doubting,

This situation would revert back to,

What every school going child was due,

The pupils had organized themselves and,

Ordered all out action, classes were banned,

Not sure when this will be sorted out,

Kids staying at home power, nothing to flout,

Most important lessons they are now learning,

Fighting for your rights and power spurning,

Whilst teaching their educators, a thing or two,

That blind acceptance is not what pupils do,

Who is in control and who is leading whom?

Raise your hand elected teacher in this classroom.
