The Healer

He was a healer, a carer of health,

Wellbeing, his currency, his wealth,

Emergency treatment, he saw the need,

Not waiting for others, he took the lead,

So that even when he would be gone,

The caring would continue on and on…

And if the world was fair and just,

His good health would be a must,

The system nurturing not betraying him,

Turning out lights, left dark and dim,

If the world was really just and fair,

It would have shown him same care,

Death would have been mistaken,

Leaving him here not to be taken,

And on and on he heals, no end,

In a world broken needing to mend.
