The American Soap Opera

American mirror on the wall,

Who is the fairest of them all,

It’s me not him, it’s me not her,

Throw more insults, another slur,

Go find lots of dirt, dig, dig, dig,

Do not care if it’s small or big

Great, he did, she did what to who?

Perhaps a lie, perhaps it’s true,

Spin it, spin it and vote for me,

What a great leader I will be,

No I will be, no I’ll be, no,

Election Punch and Judy show.
